This is currently an informational website. It does not offer accounts, email signup, purchases, paid reservations, custom analytics, or advertising tracking. Chronal will update this policy before enabling a feature that collects additional personal information.
Website request data
Hosting and network infrastructure may process ordinary request information needed to deliver and protect the website. This may include an IP address, browser and device information, the requested page, a referring page when supplied by the browser, request timestamps, and limited diagnostic or security information.
This information is used for site delivery, reliability, abuse prevention, security, and troubleshooting. Chronal does not use it for advertising profiles, cross-site tracking, automated decisions, or the sale of personal information.
No signup or commerce collection
The website does not currently collect email addresses through a signup form, create payment sessions, accept payment information, issue licenses, or request device-activation information. The former signup and checkout endpoints are disabled and return a not-found response without reading a submitted form or contacting an email, payment, or licensing provider.
Local Chronal projects
Chronal Studio is designed around local project folders. Your prose, structured Chronal data, review decisions, graph, and timeline remain on storage you control unless you place the folder in a synchronization service, share it, or connect an outside service.
Built-in local AI
Supported built-in model processing runs on your device. Local AI is optional, and its suggestions require review before becoming approved project facts. Chronal does not upload local project content merely because you use the writing, review, timeline, or graph workflow.
Outside services you choose
You may optionally connect a compatible outside agent through Model Context Protocol (MCP). That agent may send the project content you expose to its own provider. Review the agent’s settings and privacy terms before connecting it. No outside agent is required for Chronal Studio’s core workflow.
If you independently store a Chronal project in a cloud-synchronized folder, that storage provider’s terms and data practices apply to the copy it receives.
Email you choose to send
If you contact Chronal directly by email, the sender address, message, and related correspondence are used to review and respond to the request. Do not include private project content, access credentials, or other sensitive information unless it is necessary and you have taken appropriate precautions.
Retention and security
Operational request logs are retained for limited periods determined by security, troubleshooting needs, and provider configuration. Direct correspondence is retained only as reasonably needed to respond, maintain an appropriate record, or comply with law. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but Chronal limits the website’s current collection surface by not offering accounts, signup, analytics, or commerce.
Your choices
You can browse the public website without creating an account or submitting a form. Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information held about you. Questions or requests may be sent to privacy@chronal.studio.
Future changes
This policy will be updated before Chronal enables email collection, purchasing, license fulfillment, device activation, crash reporting, telemetry, or another material data practice. The updated date will change, and any required notice or choice will be presented at or before collection.
